Suppression During Five Stages of Inflammation

First and Second Stages of Inflammation :

It might be argued that suppressing the stages of Incubation and Aggravation doesn't necessarily lead to fatal outcomes if it is followed by natural living and detoxifying treatments. In response, I would say: "This approach always carries the risk of concentrating disease toxins in crucial parts and organs, which can set the stage for chronic destructive illnesses."

Moreover, it is not essential to suppress inflammatory processes using harmful drugs and other unnatural methods, as we can effectively manage them and prevent them from becoming dangerous through our natural treatment methods.

Now, I will attempt to demonstrate and illustrate the previous theoretical points by tracing the progression of various diseases through the five stages of inflammation. I will start with the most common type of illness, the cold.

Catching a Cold Many people believe that catching colds is the main cause of many human health issues. Almost every day, I hear from patients who come for advice: "All my problems started with a cold I caught at a certain time, etc." Then, I have to clarify that colds are not caught suddenly from outside but originate from within, and their Incubation period can last for months or even years. A clean, healthy body with good vitality cannot catch a cold under normal temperature conditions that are suitable for human life, regardless of how abrupt the temperature change may be.

At first glance, this might seem to contradict what we usually experience,as well as the theories and practices of medical science. However, let’sexamine how a cold develops from beginning to end. This will help us understand if it can be caught or if it slowly forms within the body; it will also clarify if this development or incubation can take a long time.Catching a cold can happen when the surface of the body or a part of it gets chilled. When the skin in these chilled areas cools down, the pores close, and blood withdraws into the body. As a result, the removal of harmful gases and fluids through these skin areas is hindered. Getting a cold from being in a cold draft, wearing wet clothes, etc., doesn’t
necessarily lead to more serious issues.

Consequences. If the system isn't too burdened with unhealthy substances and if the kidneys and intestines are functioning reasonably well, these organs will manage the extra waste and harmful materials instead of the temporarily inactive skin, eliminating them easily. The higher the vitality and the more normal the blood composition, the better the system will respond in such situations and expel the harmful matter that couldn't be removed through the skin.

However, if the body is already overloaded with waste and unhealthy materials, if the intestines and kidneys are weakened and shriveled from constant overwork and overstimulation, and if, on top of that, vitality has decreased due to excesses or overexertion, leading to abnormal conditions of the vital fluids, then the harmful substances released into the bloodstream due to the chilling and temporary inactivity of the skin cannot find a way out through the usual elimination channels. Instead, they try to escape through the mucous linings of the nasal passages, throat, bronchi, stomach, intestines, and urinary organs.

The waste materials and toxic substances that are being expelled through these internal membranes lead to irritation and congestion, resulting in the familiar signs of inflammation and catarrhal elimination: sneezing (coryza), coughing, expectoration, mucous discharges, diarrhea, leucorrhea [vaginal discharge], and so on.

In simpler terms, these so-called colds are just various types of vicarious elimination. The membranous linings of the internal organs are compensating for the inactive, sluggish, and weakened skin, kidneys, and intestines. The more morbid matter builds up in the body, the lower the vitality becomes, and the more unusual the blood and lymph composition is, the higher the chance of catching colds.

From the above, it should be clear that the reason for a cold isn't just the cold air or wet feet, but rather the main causes of all illnesses: reduced vitality, the decline of vital fluids, and the buildup of harmful substances and toxins in the body.

The time it takes for a cold to develop can span many years or even a whole lifetime.

So, what is the natural way to treat colds? There is only one solution: enhancing elimination through the right channels. This can be achieved by careful dieting and fasting, as well as by restoring the natural functions of the skin, kidneys, and intestines using wet packs, cold sprays, baths, massage, chiropractic or osteopathic treatments, homeopathic remedies, exercise, and exposure to sunlight and fresh air, along with all other natural methods that preserve vitality, strengthen the blood normally, and encourage elimination without harming the body.

Suppression During the Third Stage of Inflammation :

If we suppress the inflammatory processes during the Destruction stage, the consequences could be even more severe and widespread. We've learned that in this stage, the affected areas and organs start to break down. They become filled with unhealthy fluids, pus, and other substances that disrupt normal nutrition and functioning. If we suppress things at this point, it’s clear that the damaged areas will remain in a state of destruction permanently.

To illustrate this with a real-life example: Imagine that essential repairs need to be done on a house. The workers have already taken down the walls, curtains, wallpaper, and so on. If at this point the owner sends the workers away, the house would be left in total disarray. This wouldn’t make any sense. It would render the house unlivable. This situation is similar to what happens when we suppress inflammatory diseases during the Destruction stage. It leaves the affected organs in a permanently unhealthy state.

This explains the puzzling chronic after-effects that often follow drug treatments for acute diseases. I have seen many cases of chronic lung and kidney issues, infantile paralysis, and various other long-term problems arise from such suppression. In the next part, I will share a typical case that we treated a few years back.

Suppression Using an Ice Bag

A few years back, a group of Greek gentlemen asked me to visit a friend of theirs who had been sick for about two months in one of the major hospitals on the West Side of Chicago. After looking into it, I discovered that the patient had been admitted with a mild case of pneumonia. The hospital doctors had prescribed ice packs. They used rubber sheets filled with ice on the chest and other areas of the body. This treatment continued for several weeks until the fever went down.

In reality, ice is more suppressive than fever-reducing medications. The ongoing cold applications chill the body parts they are placed on, lower vital functions, and effectively suppress the inflammatory processes.

In this situation, similar to many others I've seen during and after the ice-bag treatment, the outcome was that the lung inflammation had been halted and reduced during the destructive phase, when the air cells and tissues were filled with exudates, blood serum, pus, both live and dead blood cells, bacteria, and so on, resulting in the affected lung areas appearing consolidated, resembling liver tissue.

Due to this suppression in the case of the Greek patient, his pneumonia transitioned from the acute phase to subacute and chronic stages. The doctors informed his friends that he was now diagnosed with miliary tuberculosis and likely had only a week or two to live.

After hearing this discouraging news, the patient's friends approached me and insisted that I take over his care. He was moved to our facility, and we immediately started implementing natural treatment methods. Instead of using ice packs, we opted for regular cold-water packs, utilizing strips of linen soaked in water at room temperature wrapped around his body and covered with multiple layers of flannel bandages.

The wet packs warmed up on the body within minutes. They helped to relax the pores and brought blood to the surface, which encouraged heat to escape and helped get rid of harmful substances through the skin.

They didn’t stop the fever, but kept it from getting too high. With this treatment, along with fasting and careful osteopathic manipulation, the inflammatory and feverish reactions that had been held back by the ice packs soon came back, became active and aggressive again, and were allowed to go through their natural stages of destruction, absorption (which means getting better), and rebuilding.

As a result of the Nature Cure treatment, about two months after the patient arrived at our facility, his friends got him a ticket to sunny Greece. He had a pleasant trip, and in the friendly climate of his home country, he made a full recovery.

I have seen several similar cases where people had lung issues and ended up with asthma or tuberculosis, which were made worse by being treated with fever-reducing medications and ice.
Using an ice bag on an inflamed brain or spinal column is just as risky. It often leads to paralysis or even death. In many cases, acute cerebrospinal meningitis is turned into chronic, so-called incurable infantile paralysis through drug treatments or ice bag use.

We call it so-called incurable because we have successfully treated and cured such cases at all stages, from acute inflammatory meningitis to long-term chronic paralysis.

When treating acute illnesses, we never use ice or cold water for packs, compresses, baths, or washing. Instead, we always use water at room temperature straight from the faucet. The water compress or pack heats up quickly, which helps trigger a natural response in just a few minutes. On the other hand, an ice pack keeps chilling and almost freezes the affected areas and organs. This prevents the skin from relaxing, stops a warm reaction, and hinders the release of body heat and the removal of harmful substances through the skin.

Suppression During the Fourth and Fifth Stages of Inflammation :

Let's explore what occurs when acute illnesses are suppressed during the phases of recovery and rebuilding. If the body's defenders, like phagocytes and antitoxins, which are produced in the tissues and organs, manage to overcome the harmful forces that threaten the health and life of the organism, then the signs of inflammation—such as swelling, redness, heat, pain, and the increased heart rate that comes with them—will slowly diminish. The remnants of the battle are removed through the venous circulation, which acts as the body's drainage system.

Once all harmful materials have been fully removed in this manner, the Vital Force, often referred to as "the physician within," will begin to heal and restore the damaged and destroyed cells and tissues.

However, if these processes of removal and rebuilding are disrupted or halted before they are fully finished, then the affected areas and organs won't have the opportunity to heal completely or regain their strength. They will stay in an abnormal, weakened state, and their ability to function will be significantly impaired.
