To demonstrate the validity of this idea, we need to examine how the law of polarity operates in the lower kingdoms, especially regarding the creation of healthy foods and medicines, as well as harmful substances and poisons. So far, chemical science has identified seventeen elements in significant amounts within animal and human bodies, as well as in the foods that nourish them. These seventeen elements need to be present in both animal and human bodies, and therefore in their food sources, in a balanced and adequate manner to meet all their needs, ensuring healthy tissue and normal functioning.
If some of these elements are found in excess while others are lacking or completely missing in our food and drinks, the chemical balance of the body and its functions will be disrupted, leading to abnormal functioning or disease eventually. Now, let’s take a closer look at the chemical processes that influence health or illness. Almost all diseases that occur in animals and humans, except for accidents and unfavorable living conditions, are ultimately caused by the harmful or destructive effects of certain acids, ptomains, alkaloids, xanthins, or other harmful substances and toxins. We refer to these disease-causing chemical substances collectively as pathogens, which consist of hydrogen combined with negative elements. If our food and drinks are primarily made up of these negative, pathogen-producing elements, then over time, abnormal or diseased states are bound to arise.
The foods that are most appreciated by both doctors and the general public for their nourishing properties include proteins, dextrins, starches, fats, and sugars. When these are in their pure chemical form, they consist of hydrogen combined with negative, acid-forming elements. These elements include carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, phosphorus, and sulfur. Hydrogen is a fundamental component of all acids. Almost all acids, ptomains, xanthins, and colloids contain oxygen. These two essential elements are further supported in harmful (disease-causing) substances by varying amounts of carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, chlorine, fluorine, iodine, and other negative elements found in foods, medicines, and tonics. Carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen are the core elements in all toxic substances within the body. This helps explain why the typical American diet, which consists of meat, white bread, potatoes, pie, and coffee, lacks balance due to the absence of organic mineral salt foods, ultimately leading to abnormal conditions in the body's tissues and functions over time. In Chapter VI of the "Nature Cure Cook Book and ABC of Natural Dietetics," I have included a list of disease-causing acids, ptomains, xanthins, colloids, and toxins. It is clear that none of these contain a single positive element. I have also been unable to find any positive elements in other negative, harmful substances. Naturally, this raises the question: how can we stop the creation of these negative, disease-causing substances? The answer is quite clear; we can do this by ensuring that our foods and medicines contain enough positive, alkaline, mineral elements in their live, organic form. If we take this into account and address it properly, the positive mineral elements will, through chemical attraction, bond with the negative atoms and molecules, resulting in chemically balanced combinations.
which are not harmful but instead helpful in the essential functioning of the body. Physiological science now recognizes that all cell waste is chemically acidic and needs to be neutralized by alkaline elements as soon as it is produced to avoid the buildup of unhealthy waste products. Therefore, the salts removed through the kidneys and skin are neutralized

When we eat foods that lead to too much acid production and neutralization, our bodies create more salts than they can get rid of. As a result, these salts can build up and create unhealthy deposits, turning into harmful substances in rheumatic joints, kidney stones, and "hardened" arteries.
blocked capillaries. The "recent findings" of traditional science support my assertion that all diseases initially stem from negativity or acidity. They also validate the core concepts of natural dietetics. The illustration on page 346 shows the chemical transformations related to cell nutrition and the processes of neutralizing and removing cell waste.
Column I. The three main categories of cell nutrients are:
1. Carbohydrates include starches, dextrins, and sugars. These food components, in their pure chemical form, are made up of carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen.
2. Hydrocarbons, which are fats and oils, also consist of carbon, oxygen, and hydrogen when they are in their pure chemical state.
3. Proteins – when they are chemically pure, they consist of carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus, hydrogen, and sulfur.
Column II. Illustrates a basic diagram of a cell along with its nucleus. The substances within the cell are protoplasm, which, when pure, contains the elements carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, phosphorus, hydrogen, and sulfur.
These elements match those found in the cell nutrients listed in Column I.
Column III – Lists some of the most common types of cellular waste.
The protoplasm of the cell and its nutrients are broken down during the metabolic activities of cell life, including digestion, nutrition, and waste elimination, into their basic atoms and molecules. These then form new combinations because no atom or group of atoms will stay isolated if it can join with other chemical units; similarly, a normal person will not choose to be alone and separated from others if they can avoid it. Since acids are composed of hydrogen and negatively charged elements, and since pure protoplasm is made up of hydrogen along with four or five other negatively charged acid-forming elements, it follows that all cellular waste must be acidic in nature or consist of other harmful negative materials like ptomaines and leukemias, etc.
The acidic waste products from cells listed in Column III can be transformed into neutral salts by combining with positive alkaline mineral elements shown in Column IV. These alkaline elements neutralize acids by replacing the hydrogen atoms, thus converting harmful acids into neutral salts.
Several of these salts, which are the result of acid neutralization by alkaline elements, are provided in Column V. For example, carbonic acid is converted into sodium carbonate. Urea is a normal end product of protein and carbohydrate metabolism. Sulfuric and sulfurous acids are transformed by combining with calcium into calcium sulfate or sulfide, etc.
Column VI. Contains harmful products from abnormal cell and food metabolism, which are components of what we refer to as pathogens.
When these substances build up in the body in large amounts, they can lead to capillary blockage, which causes inflammation and the leaking of harmful materials into nearby tissues, resulting in decay as explained in the sections about inflammation. These unhealthy processes encourage both normal and abnormal microzyma to turn into bacteria. The bacteria then consume and break down the harmful materials (like leucocytes and colloids) into simpler compounds that can be neutralized by alkaline elements and removed through natural pathways. Once the harmful materials are broken down, the bacteria are either expelled from the body or the microzyma absorb the protoplasm of their own bacteria, leaving only the microzyma behind. Under the right conditions, such as in a suitable unhealthy environment in their own or other bodies, these microzyma can develop back into scavengers or bacteria, as scientists refer to them. Orthodox science acknowledges that this process can occur under certain conditions. They refer to what Bechamp called microzyma as 'spores.'
The previous explanation shows why healing crises are needed when the harmful burdens in the body of someone with a "chronic" condition hold too much unhealthy material listed in Column VI.
The blood, which can be alkaline, absorbs uric acid, breaks it down, and keeps it dissolved in the bloodstream until it gets neutralized. Then, its salts are sent to the organs that help remove waste and are expelled through sweat and urine.
However, if someone eats too many nitrogen-rich foods or if their body doesn't eliminate waste properly, the levels of uric acid and other waste products can rise too high. When this happens, the blood can't dissolve and neutralize these substances anymore, leading to the creation of a sticky, glue-like substance called a "colloid." This substance can clog the tiny blood vessels (capillaries), making it hard for blood to flow from the arteries into the veins.
When the circulation is blocked by uric or carbonic acid, or other harmful substances throughout the body, it leads to high blood pressure in the arteries and internal organs like the heart, lungs, and brain, while the pressure is low in the surface areas, extremities, and venous circulation. This situation causes the feared high blood pressure.
The blood's return to the heart through the veins becomes slow and stagnant because the pressure from the arteries is hindered by pathogens that clog the tiny capillaries connecting the arterial and venous systems.
Due to this disruption in normal blood flow and distribution, uric acid causes various annoying and harmful effects. It irritates nerves, mucous membranes, and other body tissues, leading to headaches, rheumatic pain in joints and muscles, blood congestion in the head, flushing, dizziness, fainting, and even epilepsy.
Other effects of uric acid irritation include inflammation and catarrhal conditions affecting the bronchi, lungs, stomach, intestines, and genitourinary organs. Additionally, symptoms may involve a rapid pulse, heart palpitations, angina pectoris, and more..
These colloidal substances block the tiny ducts and capillaries in the liver, kidneys, and other organs, disrupting their normal functions and leading to the buildup of harmful materials in the body. All these annoying and damaging effects of uric acid poisoning can be significantly worsened by the excessive buildup of sulphuric, phosphoric, and other acids, as well as by the creation of ptomaine, leukemia, and toxic alkaloids that occur during the metabolism of protein substances. The whole set of symptoms caused by the surplus of uric acid or pathogens in the body, along with the resulting blockage of the capillary blood
vessels by colloidal substances, is referred to as collemia.
TO SUM UP:
The more freely life force flows into an organism, the higher its vitality, leading to increased strength and enhanced ability to resist and recover. At the core of life’s expression is the principle of polarity, which reveals itself through the dual nature of positive and negative attraction. The constant movement between positive and negative, striving to achieve a balance in incomplete polarity, represents the very rhythm of life.
Illness arises from disturbed polarity or an unbalanced chemical state. Extreme positive or negative conditions, whether they are physical, mental, or moral, can lead to illness in their respective areas of existence. Foods, medicines, suggestions, and all other treatment methods have either a positive or negative effect on the individual receiving them. Therefore, it is crucial for doctors and anyone who wants to live and work in harmony with the laws of Nature to grasp this vital concept of magnetic polarity.
A decrease in vitality results in slower and coarser vibrations, which leads to a weakened ability to resist the buildup of harmful substances, toxins, disease traits, germs, and parasites. This is what we typically refer to as a “negative” state.
To clarify this further, let’s use a simple yet relatable example: Many of you have likely seen the “human roulette” at summer amusement parks. This device features a large, board-covered wheel that is slightly raised in the center and slopes down toward the edges. The wheel spins horizontally, parallel to the ground. People pay a small fee to lie flat on the wheel and try to hold on as it spins faster and faster. When the wheel turns slowly, it’s easy to stay on, but as it speeds up, the centrifugal force makes it increasingly difficult for the “flies” to maintain their grip.
The fast repelling ability of the spinning wheel can show us what we refer to as strong vibration, good health, natural defense, or healing power. This represents a positive state. The stronger the life force acts, the quicker and more vigorous the vibrations of the atoms and molecules in the cells become, as well as those of the cells in the organs and tissues of the body. The quicker and more vigorous this vibratory action is, the stronger the repulsion and removal of harmful substances, toxins, and disease germs that weigh down and threaten the body. This is why, as we get older, waste and harmful substances build up more easily in our bodies. Reduced vitality leads to lower vibrations, which means less resistance to the buildup of waste and harmful materials. This, in turn, blocks the flow and distribution of vital energy. Therefore, it becomes clear how the main signs of disease can affect and worsen each other.
Health or disease ultimately resides in the cell. Even though it is a tiny, microscopic entity, the cell is a living individual that eats, drinks, grows, eliminates waste, reproduces, ages, and declines, just like a human, who is a larger collection of cells. If the individual cell is healthy, then the human, as a complex cell, is also healthy, and the opposite is true. From this, it is clear that when we think about health, disease, and healing, we must focus primarily on the individual cell.
The cell's vibratory activity can decrease due to a natural decline in vitality as we age. It can also happen artificially through negative thoughts and feelings. Bad lifestyle habits, overworking, unnatural stimulation, and various excesses contribute to this decline.
Additionally, the flow of vital energy into the cells can be blocked by the buildup of waste and unhealthy substances in the body's tissues. This buildup disrupts the flow of life energy and the smooth, harmonious vibrations of the body's cells and organs, much like how dust in a watch hinders its normal functioning.
Clearly, negative conditions can arise not just from excessive refinement of the physical body but also from accumulating waste and unhealthy materials that interfere with the flow and distribution of vital energy. A diet heavy in meat, eggs, fats, and gluten can significantly burden the system with harmful waste, obstructing the flow of life elements, which leads to reduced vitality or negative conditions. I mention this because many believe that fasting, a vegetarian diet, or a raw food diet, along with certain detox methods, inevitably create negative conditions, and that those with negative health must stick to a heavy meat diet.
It also becomes clear that in situations where negative conditions stem from waste buildup, Nature Cure methods like a clean food diet, hydrotherapy, massage, and neurotherapy are essential for clearing these blockages and enhancing the flow and circulation of positive electromagnetic and vitochemical energies.
